As one of only a few professional burlesque dancers in Japan, Tamayo is a pioneer in the burlesque world. She gives considerable time and effort to training young dancers, to contribute to the spread of burlesque dance for exercise as well as an appealing dance form.
Tamayo is highly rated both in Japan and internationally, because of her ability and experience in shows venues across the country. She has also featured in many burlesque-related films, talk shows, television programmes and magazines.
She also has considerable experience of choreography and directing show scenes in the theatre, adverts and movies, where she is known for directing feminine poses. She is also known for her also comical dances.
Her deep voice has been valued in narration and DJ work for radio.
